Having read PTMW's thread about getting his car back I am now considering buying a Knocklink. I run an MY95 Turbo 2000 with a full decat and a vta dump valve. Is it worth while fitting a KL?? How much are they??? And how easy/hard are they to fit??

Thanks in advance.

Full De-Cat is deffo worthwhile fitting a KL - mine was a MY99 UK with PPP.

Between £110 & £150 depending where you get your bits & its a doddle for a DIY person.

Nuts & bolts to take off i/cooler & put it back on again.

Bit of threading 2 wires through a bulk-head

Long philips s/driver to take centre console (h/brake & g/stick area) apart, then flat head to ease centre console facia off. Scotch-block to ciggy lighter for +ve & also -ve is there or you can undo one of the philips screws for the g/shift cover on the transmission tunnel & put it there.

Otherwise its threading wires & tidying where you want them to go.

3/4 hour work maybe?

I'm after doing something else with the display at the mo, so thats taking a wee bit longer, although the basic install is done.
