mine seem Ok on my 03 WRX after one month and 3k, although alot of people complain about them on this site. I'll ring one of the companies like scooby mania if mine start to smear or make noises -maybee you should?

You're not fussy, mine are crap too. They only seem to clear the screen going up and make some annoying noises on the way down if it isn't chucking it down. I've tried cleaning them etc but to no avail, so will be trying some of these double-edged silicone jobbies if I can get Santa to deliver....

My blades are sh*te. No clunk yet on my, MY53, 5.5k! (this that a lot??)) but the blades don't shift the water very well. Have also tried cleaning them, but no joy.

Wasn't impressed with the standard ones that came with my '03 STi, so changed them for a set of PIAA silican blades - would recommend them!

Interested in any other recommendations as mine are also crap (WRX03) Complained to dealer - recommended cleaning with Meths. Done that: no improvement. No clunk, but leaves huge smear centre screen from drivers side wiper.

I'm with SU3ARU - changed to PIAA Silicon - miles better. Follow the instructions carefully when you fit them. Never taken me so long to fit a set of blades! But they do work. Not cheap, but worth it IMHO

Thanks for help. JW Racing were v efficient. Fitted in time for downpour this weekend. Huge improvement on standard issue.
Can thoroughly recommend PIAA silicon wipers.
