Thumbs up

I'm no real fan of rally strips on road cars but I do feel this looks great

Nice

usually like to go a bit understated rather than over but must admit it looks bloody great.

A nice set of wheels and a spring kit would really finish it off though Supercue - are you plannig to do any more or not?

I put STi8 wheels (resprayed gunmetal) on my 03 WRX and I think it has transformed the look although I think I regret not buying a black one myself. (got silver one)

Ed how many games did you win at bowling?

Idle I love it the car was so understated before and now for me it looks superb

Macka to be honest I bought black because I couldn't wait nearly six months for blue mica with leather. I am so glad I've got the black as
1) Looks superb
2) You don't see too many in black either.

You're right spring kit and 18" alloys in anthracite but first I need to upgrade to braided hoses and better pads/fluid for the track days

Jono Yes they're anti flash plates but only work on gatso cameras so I'm told

John will try to make the D.T. Tursday even if it's only for an hour with the kids in tow. Any excuse to bring the car out

Thanks for the info re. the anti-flash plates mate, not sure what you mean by "they only work with gatso cameras though" ?? take it you meant " not sure if they work with gatso cameras " ?? wonder where you sourced these ones from / price ?? suppose they save having to photoshopp the plates every time you need to put your car pics on the net !!!

Jono

I bought the plates from a sign-writing shop close to me and the guy asked if I would like anti flash for an extra tenner. He reckons they will work on Gatso cameras only whether they are taking front or rear pictures.

I don't know if this applies to the new Specs cameras but have to say I've been flashed a couple of times through my own stupidity and have so far never had a ticket.

After taking these pics it's obvious they do work. The only one which did show the plate was when we used the flicker flash
