NOW I'M VERY CURIOUS
#2
Just been driving the recently acquired scooby a bit more and hope my imagination isn't playin tricks re the old roundabout problem on my previous posts.
Still seem to have a light steering feel when driving round the local roundabout yet if i drive round a tight left corner the car is feeding back as i would expect!! Would love to drive the wrong way a roundabout to confirm this!! but having to make do with a long left turning corner to experiment.
Don't really want the car to give me loads of confidence on sharp left turns but doesn't inspire me on sharp right turns!!
Long winded i know......Sorry!! Could be the old mind playin tricks but is it possible?

Was hoping to hear maybe a similar experience!!
Will be tryin out the car parks at the weekend, doesn't help avin to do it a nite though when there's no cars to hit!!
Wondered if it's possible cos the car's done 50k and 5yr old, if the previous owner used to 'hoon' it round roundabouts, is it possible there could be more wear on one side!!!???
a naive question i know but i'm just a typical pen pusher who knows nowt about car mechanics, time i started learnin though!

yeah, geometry done yesterday, but only at standard factory settings though, did need some adjustment and does feel better for it as well.
I'm more curious as to why it would feel better on a left hander than a right hander?

Get your dampers checked.
i had a similar problem on left hand corners, especially on rough surfaces, it tried to kick the rear of the car out.
turned out to be a blown drivers side rear damper.
4 new dampers and some lowering springs (may as well do it at the same time imho) later, the car's as solid and steady as a rock.
