Help posting pics please

Can anyone please help me. Its not funny anymore.
On another site i posted three pics of my scoob. all three pics looked fab. When i went back to the site later my pics wouldn't appear. just little crosses. When i click on them to show picture, nothing happens. I uploaded the pics via webshot. and when i posted them i typed in [ img ] the little code bit [ /img ]
It worked like that before so what am i doing wrong.
Any ideas anyone!!!
