Prodrive is auctioning a range of unique motorsport memorabilia via an on-line auction in aid of Children In Need. Items can be seen on Prodrive’s website and include autographed Subaru rally car parts, clothing, books and even four-times World Rally Champion Tommi Makinen’s driving boots! An autographed front bumper from the highly successful Prodrive Ferrari 550 Maranello is also up for grabs and visitors to the website can also book a tour of Prodrive’s facilities in Banbury.

Update from Prodrive
PRODRIVE TOURS - CHILDREN IN NEED

Prodrive would like to thank all the Scoobynet members who have E-mailed to request a tour as part of our Children in Need fundraising auction. D ue to an overwhelming response we have now filled all available places on the tours planned for the next two weeks. Thank you to everyone who has E-mailed to request a tour, all those that have E-mailed in and not yet received a reply, we will get back to you shortly to advise if we can accommodate you.

We apologise to all those we are unable to accommodate at this time.

The auction will be on-line until 21 November and for any F1 fans among you, we have added some BAR merchandise signed by Jenson Button.

Many thanks once again to all those who are taking part helping us towards our target of raising £10,000 for Children in Need.
***

Prodrive hope to raise around £10,000 for Children in Need with the auction and other activities and hope that Scoobynet members will help them reach this target by joining in the auction.

To view the lots or to bid go to www.prodrive.com/childreninneed

Regards,
Shaun.

No need for that guys.

Fair play to Prodive, its not every company that takes time out to raise money for charities.

Guys,

Please do not bring this thread down in it's tone.... this is all about Charity and an organisation that is taking the time and effort to support it.

The fact that you can support such an excellent charity and possibly own some rally memorabilia in the process is an added bonus.

Regards,
Shaun.

I have dropped them a mail hoping to do the tour. That will make an excellent birthday present for my sister I think it's great that Prodrive are offering this and to give the money to charity is even better

Thanks

Paul

Just to bring this back on top, as I have received a statement from Prodrive and have amended the original post, concerning the Prodrive Tours.

All the more for the little uns.

Shame we couldn't get Petter or Tommi to join our 50 Subaru convoy up to Norwich on Friday 21st.If they could have kept up with us that is.

ESSEX BOYZ CONVOY FOR CHILDREN IN NEED

My only consolation is I managed to get on one of the tours round Prodrive this coming Thursday 13th.Can't wait.

And BTTT.
