you have to press the clutch in to start it.
yep caught me out the first day I had the car as the car was completely dead and wouldnt start. I was happier when it also caught a scooby mechanic out as well .

Can anyone tell me what the differences are on these models? I have heard that on the later models they used inverted struts or something like that. Cosmetically they look the same to me. Anyone help?

version 6 has different front lip spoiler. Rear spoiler has an angled trailing edge making it about an inch taller (if that makes sense)then V5.
Some appear to have 6 spoke alloys too.

Don't know any more but I'm sure the anoraks on here can quote some....

suspension is the same as a Version5, which uses inverted struts.

Interior wise, they have a blue centre console trim and dash clock surround, you have to press the clutch in to start it.

There are no mechanical diferences in spec.

Any particular reason for the clutch to be pressed? Or is it a WRC trick fitted. They are 300ps instead of 280 arnt they?

probably safety feature on the JDM models so you dont lurch forward when in gear and less strain on transmission.
