does anyone know where I can get one of those nylon seat covers that wud fit MY97 drivers seat, like the ones you see on cars that hav the "SNAP-ON" tools logo on or other sporty companies???
what do they cost?

Hi There!

I have been pondering on the idea of producing a limited run of seat covers specifically made to fit the impreza. We have the facility to make them up “in house” including embroidery machinery to add a logo such as WRX etc.
So far the only covers that I have seen are the universal type by the likes of Snap-On and those offered by the R.S Owners Club, if there is any interest I will run up a sample and put it on our website:

LOGO HAS TO B 1 THAT DOES NOT CAUSE PROBLEMS WITH TRATE MARKS OR LICENSES!

eg. We carnt use SUBARU, IMPREZA, STi, THE SUBARU 'STAR' LOGO, A SCOOBY DOO (WARNER BROS)

WE COULD HAVE:

I would go for fitted seat covers. But can you get ones that can fit the bucket seats properly???
My preference is all Black with a Silver WRX or if we are allowed SIDC logo.

Hello all.

Thanks for all the positive input regarding the seat covers (on and off list), Here are the results.

1) The most popular colour choice is black.
2) A tailored fit to follow the contours of the Impreza seat.
3) Most popular logo is WRX followed by AWD TURBO 2000 and the SIDC logo.

Based on these facts I will run up a sample during the week and put it up on the web.

Salsa-King pointed out that I cannot embroider trade marked logos such as SUBARU and the WRT logo. I can however use generic names such as those in number 3. Good examples of generic names are those that Auto-Style (the car mat people) offers for sale, for example: GTI, TURBO, EVOLUTION and 325i. As far as the SIDC logo goes, that is up to the club to decide.

In the mean time if anyone has any comments or suggestions I would be happy to hear from you.
