Is Midnight Black in the US the same as our UK Blue/Black Mica??

Want to order a part from the US for my MY02 WRX - the colours they list are Midnight Black however mine is Blue/Black Mica. Can anyone confirm if indeed they are the same colours???

Can you not get the paint code from the people in the US?
I know that by the sounds, midnight black is probably totally black where as black mica is flecked with gold so.....

I have calculated that is cheaper to have them painted in the states and delivered by Private Lear-jet than to take them to a certain palatine motors ...... :P

lolYou could always see if Concorde could make one last trip.Have em delivered in style.Should still be cheaper!!!!!
I think the space shuttle is coming over this way too!

good or maybe bad news don't know which. I went on the ici paint computer today at work. ICI ref for blue black mica XLA4B and graphite black 1LKKB. this means that they ain't the same. the blue black is a more complex pearl where as the graphite is a more basic one. Hope this helps mate.
