When I spoke to PE yesterday I asked to speak to Merv as he is the one that looked at my car previously and as I understand it is most highly thought of, however they sad he no longer works there!!

Does anybody know where he has gone?

I have a PE 260ps map on my 93WRX and have been very happy with it as I understand it Merv is the one a PE that developed this map so I am a bit worried, are PE any good at the early remap stuff without him as they didn't seem confident they could still offer this service!!

Just as I decide I need a custom map!!

Talking

Technically, he hasn't worked there for a while. He works for EcuTek (or did last time I spoke to him).

Cool

Merv left along time ago,the last i heard they were moving to america, how true that was i dont know.Have you got a P.E phase 1 remap,if so chris is not keen to do this any more because of an engine failure they had, not due to the map but lack of oil in the car.I dont know if ecutek do a remap for the early cars.chris todd at P.E is quite capable of assesing you car on the rolling road and giving advice on how to change your map.LOL

from what I here he now works for EcuTek and ther offices are upstairs from PE so presumably he would use their rollers for EcuTek customer remaping

but this still leaves me with a problem of finding someone who can custom map the early ECUs

any sugestions ? and I have already spoken to the scooby ECU guys with no joy on a CUSTOM map

Thanks for the sugestion guys but was already pushing the budget to go for the PE remap at arround £300 when the origonal Idea was to get a ScoobyEcu for arround £75

so the sugestion of spending WELL over £1000!!!! on a link or motech is just out of the question

my have to start taking mods off !!

I hope they can still do custom maps on their phase 1 conversions because I was planning on getting this done on my uk98 after some further mods.
