Question

I've got a Silver (MY01) Bug Eye Saloon with the AirBag Seats in the front. Does anyone know if there was ever a bucket stylie seat for this MY ?
And if there was, is it possible to change them ?

the G

no, its from Holland but it's "UK Spec"..

Most if not all the bug eyes I've seen have got these seats in, there was a set for sale just the other week by someone who had upgraded to the STi7 interior, £300 I think it was for the lot.

oh yes, I would think so without much aggro. I'm reasonably sure I've read that it's just a case of unbolting old ones and bolting new ones in.. but ask in the technical forum first!

Those are mine.

I think Fulham71 had a complete interior for sale recently, not sure if he's still got it but worth a try.

fraid i sold it ! was in Surrey too !
You also need a resistor in the wiring loom !
This is available from main dealers & "tricks" the ecu into thinking the air bags in the air bags are still there & working !just for further info the buckets seats were available on UK cars the first bugs eyes were fitted with head restraint type seats ! then you could chose between buckets or head rests !

Ninnybobs from Tyne Tees scoobies has some MY01 seats for sale; look in the "Northern" section for one of his (many) posts to do with tyne tees scoobies and look at his profile for e-mail address or start a new FAO topic in Northern.

Hope this helps
