Have you gone from Bugeye to Blobeye

I have just made the change and after one week of ownership have 2 questions:
1. Have the seats got bigger and taller in the blob? I find I feel I am higher and get the feeling on sitting on the car and not in it! Have you noticed any differences?
2. I've had 18" wheels fitted but notice on m/way driving at say 71mph that the ride is really bouncy compared to the ol bug eye. Is this purely down to the wheels or is it a blobeye thing?
