Wheels and track day
#1
Hi
I am hoping to do the brunters trackday which will be my first raz off her majesties highways. My question is would I prudent to change my lovely 18's over to the 17's that came with car??
If I keep the 18's on will the sustain damage just by hammering around, I know the tyres will suffer but assuming I don't clowt anything will my 18's stay pukka?
thanks in advance
Andy

Being a lower profile, they are more at risk from hard cornering too, I'd go with the 17's, I did a trackday, and used 3mm of tread on all four tyres, and I only did 145 miles, so it might be worth taking them in the car, (if you can) and changing them there!!
