Welcome
As I see you come from Suffolk, have you popped over to www.scoobycity.co.uk yet? It's an East Anglian based Scooby site.

Wecome to scoobynet sir
Yes I train under Don McKenzies watchful eye although nowhere near your level.....yet.
Regarding scooby's. You should be able to get a good selection of MY98's in your price range but if you can find or stretch an to an MY99 then go for it as Subaru made a lot of changes to the MY99 which really improved the car (especially the looks). My MY99 is currenly for sale at a fixed price of £8500 so you should be able to find one for under £8k if you sit tight. Insurance shouldn't be too bad, 21 seems to be the golden age these day. I turned 25 recently and it made very little to no difference!

I think its about £900 a year for the cars as it is standard. It was about £1250 when I was running more power but I've put it back to standard to sell it. The UK models are called Turbo 2000. The classic shape imports were called WRX. Now it gets confusing because in 2001 they released the buyeye car (plates for headlights) and called that WRX - a name that hadn't previously been used in the UK. To make matter worse there is also WRX STI's. If I had my scooby time again I'd get a classic shaped import sti V but they insurance on those would probably be significantly steeper than on a UK.

No disrespect at all meant to you or your art KukSool, but most martial artists always say their chosen art is the best
That said Sipie you REALLY should come to our next demo. The other day our instructor ran up the wall and thumped a pad out of one of the 6 foot tall black belts hand who was at full stretch standing on a chair That about 8-9 feet up no problem!!! It sorted of humbled my mid-level spin kick practise

KSN Scott has the opinion that being a higher belt doesn’t necessarily make you a better martial artist, its what you do in preparation and how hard you train for that belt that earns you the respect of your class and your Instructor.

oh yeah wall dang chaggi very nice kick indeed although psbn don has always been exceptional at those kicks my demo pleaser is always helicopter speed break spin kick which involves 540 degree spin in the air before the kick or a power break doing four boards with a turning back kick
ahh ksn gavin i fought him in the tourny in the final unfortunately i was disqualified for drawing blood which was unfortunate as things were just getting interesting although i prefer continous as point fighting is a bit like a game of tag which is probably why i was disqualified as we go pretty hard at our club!!

540 spin kick look the biz
KSN Gavin is acutally injured at the moment He was skipping and his achilies tendon snapped completely and his calf muscle shot up Its been about 2 months now and he can walk again with the aid of crutches but I suspect it'll be a while yet before he is back to his former glory He is the instructor I look up to the most - very precise with a good clean style. His forms are exceptional and he's still finding time to come into class to enforce horse stance

Ooooh I've tapped you in the face so if you were in the street then you'd have to lie down and pretend you are unconscious... but hey, at least I scored a point for it
Pish
And for anyone that then comes on saying it improves muscle reflex etc then it may do.. ho hum, but it sure teaches you not to follow right through with your strikes and IMHO leads you into some real nasty habits
