Question

Ok!....seeing as it's gonna get icey soon..

I've scoured WH Smith for "What De-Icer/Scraper" magazine and i can't find one.

What is the best windscreen scraper?

Cold water poured on the roof of the car nearest the iced up window. Then a quick wipe with the wiper blades and that's it all done in 10 seconds.

I used to use de-icer and scrapers but that far too much like hard work. Don't use warm or hot water though. Cold is warm enough if you get my drift.

You guys serious? I thought this fast-car lifestyle would be glamourous, all speed and semi-nekkid chicks. But you are talking de-icing?
Get some gal in a thong to writhe on yer screen for a couple minutes each morning...sorted.

PMSL

The only ice I get is:

a) in my drinks, with the maraschino cherry and umbrella
b) in the back of the car, taking up most of the boot!

edited 'cos of finger trouble - must be cold here!

Paradoxically, hot water ices over again more quickly than cool. Something to do with evaporation i think.

I use my diesel pig when its really bad, here is the process:-

0530hrs....

Fill 2litre lemonade bottle with hot water.

Walk to diesel pig, open door.

Place bottle of hot water on dash, next to window blower vent.

Start car.

Put blowers on full blast , along with rear heated de-mist.

Lock car with spare key.

Have coffee.

Then drive to work.

Turn around half way through jouney, and return home.

Get dressed!

Start journey again.
