I've fitted the Nokia 6310 car kit to mine, with a mounting bracket that fits below and to the left of the radio, looks okay to me.
Also just fitted a mute lead, which mutes the radio and directs the phone audio through the ICE speakers, far better sound than the crappy little Nokia speaker.

If you've got bluetooth you could go for the Parrott built in kit. It has no wires so you can keep the phone in your pocket/bag and make and receive calls.
I've been using mine for a couple of months and I really like it. They are about £100 off of Amazeon.co.uk

I have just had this kit fitted
The cup holder doesn't open
The Wire tucks into the side of the radio leaving it pushed back and looking Sh*te
Thats how it's meant to go they said refunding me the fitting fee
My local ICE shop is going to make it fit better they said they would be embarressed to fit a kit like that

Bloody hell phil and u paid for it ?
i fit my own kits, paid one guy to fit £50 to start with, then when i sold the car had to take the kit out, oh so simple just follow the yellow brick ro...sorry wires i meant, they really are easy to fit m8, easier than fitted new ICE. must have fitted & re-fitted my 6310 kit in about 6 different cars now, its now in the wifes escort.

I've also found the Dashmount brackets very good. On my 3rd car with one now plus the Nokia Carkit and (as above), mute and sound through front speakers.
The only thing that's gone wrong with the Nokia kit despite being in and out of cars 3 times was the mike which cost £20

Bluetooth +a bit of Velcro on dash and back of phone = simple hands free and no special mounts or holes in the dash, put the phone where you fancy. Also easy to swap from car to car. Why bother with fancy holders?

Have a Sony bluetooth kit, the phone just needs to be in the car somewhere, boot, briefcase, pocket etc; so no need to leave phone in view for any ****** who wants to steal it. small controller on dash to accept/reject calls, about half the size of matchbox, full audio mute. All the rest of electronics go under the central binnacle/clocky thing. Cost about £300 inc installation, presumably much less if you can fit it yourself.
