Who has the fastest WRX bugeye in the UK? How does it compare to the STi7 (UK / Jap) in relation to power/torque/handling?

This version of the Impreza seems to be the forgotten relative.... I'd be interested to hear who's done what to their car.

TSL had one: I'm pretty sure it was Motek'd, and had their exhaust parts on it, but I'm not sure what sort of power it was giving?

Maybe a better question would be...

'What is going to be the fastest Bugeye WRX in the country'

Darren, callum and conrad have got STI's though

Just finished mapping with Pat and its pretty much there! Gonna try and get to Power Engineering this week and give it a run

I'm looking at about 380bhp with 340lb/ft, If i don't get these sort of figures, we shall 'Fist' it a bit more

Scott

Btw, It WILL kill a 400bhp STI 7/8 along the 1/4

No aspirations to have the fastest bugeye in the country but it's getting better thanks to lots of people on here + Brian Downie who doesn't post but is an all round good bloke. No results until the RR day at Star

Next stage is to let Matt Clark loose on a 2.5 bottom end then encourage Bob have a play with his laptop & a Motec

Who needs ultimate power???

I think the question really should be who has the best all-round bugeye in the UK.

Surely the only differences between STi7's & WRX's have long gone since for example Darren started modding but it is one of the only good looking bug eyes i've come across

Burr, i know who you are refferring to, but i still think it will take some doing to beat Conrads/Callums or Darrens, and once Callum gets the 2.5 short block sorted, well err.

As for looks, well err... Ed's car (just to keep him happy)

Scott, sounds like you thought about it, but just dismissed it

I know of some plans regarding that car, Steven, but I was mainly referring to the lack of performance figures for the non-Sti versions....

Will be interesting to see how the project evolves

Hang on a second, does the most bhp = the fastest? I think not.

My car is the fastest Bugeye in Europe and it's under warranty.

Jack, what ya like

Darrens is bloody quick Burr, if he took half the tart stuff out then it would be quicker

His run against me at Scooby Shoot Out.

Semifinal 2

Darrens is a cracking looking car, has more gadgets than you can imagine, and goes well
