Andy's right, we both realy enjoyed it was awesome I believe there will also be a option of 2.5ltr(USDM) upgrade for the type 'C' in the pipeline.

But there will be 1000 UK vehicles hitting our shore with more creature comforts and DCCD. Out of those Prodrive may possibly do a few tweaks too, Limited version maybe a P2, only guessing and no insider info IMHO etc. etc.

The fastest doesn't always mean the best of course.

Great car but £28k ? In some ways a bargain, but what will it be worth in a year ? Look how slowly P1's are selling at the mo, and they are awesome cars.

It's a shame, cos that Spec 'C' is a lot of car for the money ! Maybe I'll get one in a years time

well have not driven, but if you want the most awesome production scoob to date, the word on the street is that the spec c has it!

personally i would chop something very close to me off to own one...

Cool

Just achieved number 1 status in the EVO Sports Saloons section - pushing aside the EVo VIII FQ.

Also in a test against the M3 CSL and 911 GT3 II it wasn't outclassed - indeed in many areas was a better drive!

Not bad at half the price of the next cheapest car.

Was going to buy one...

...but love of another marque caught my eye

Like buying any import, you have warranty issues... if it goes Pete Tong for the hassle the difference between Spec c and a PPP STI with full warranty to me isn't worth it! I considered both very carefully and went for the STi PPP and have no regrets at all! its plenty quick enough, and i have the full dealer backup. And to be honest have needed it twice... With exelent results no hassle no money to pay and no questions asked... I'm not knocking the import route but; it can be false economy a bit like third party insurance. if you have plenty $$$ then yeh. As for speed its slightly quicker but unless you jump from one into the other your not going the know...

Do not know the full spec or value for money considerations but it could be a light and relatively powerful platform to work forward from.

Wink

You blokes are so lucky to have the P1, the 22b, the RB5,
the Spec C, the Typer R and the PPP versions... We here, only have the "standard" STi but with the 2.5l
