Went to fill up at my local Optimax dealer last week. paid
81.9p per litre, so had £30 worth to quench her thirst, well 186 miles later and guess what its about that time again.... pulled up at the pump selected the Green hose with the Red Optimax label stuck her in the hole was just about to squeeze the trigger when i noticed the pump price 77.9p thought i chosen the wrong one so i checked before commencing delivery, but no right pump right price happy days but why the sudden decrease in price ? are they softerning us up for a huge hike or what ?
SN'ers of Beeston, L/Eaton, Clifton or there about's its the Shell station on Priory Island

Probably to combat the new BP petrol to make sure people stick with Shell. Just goes to show how much extra they've been creaming off the top with the previous price. Not that they aren't still making a profit

78.9 near me
Sadly the local Shell garage last week transformed into a Texaco garage
So thats all the local garages now either Texaco or Esso, and not one of them sell SUL

mmmmmmmm!!! i thought we were 'sposed to be european now? they have managed to bring the prices of new cars down ...because they had to! but keep hiking the fuel prices up .only an observation.
