"This Scooby should have annihilated most things on the 1/4 mile strip"

LOL Should being the operative word! This was the week before i had my knackered clutch and flywheel replaced, could only hit 0.5 Bar in 2nd gear and couldnt get 4th! Still came 6th overall though

The event is on again on 20th December

Come on Peccy.....time for some answers!

How come you used to get such good times in that beast? You hadn't done much to the engine had you???

My car is 312bhp and all I can manage is 13.2..............what's your technique boy???

...looking back think i must have done over 100 timed 1/4 runs in that car and a fair bit of practising too, oh and the odd 0-60 event aswell, my best was a 13.10 (not inlcuding the 12.5 i got at the above event when the timing equipment was setup wrong)

Peccy, thought your best ever was 13.3?, which i beat at Elvington that time with a 13.30 last time we were there. Can remember you bein none too pleased ;-) LOL

Icy.

P.S. - 13.30 1/4, 0-60 in 4.82 seconds (phototographic proof from Trax 03), UK97, full de-cat, filter, dump-valve, NOT CHIPPED, NOT REMAPPED. Estimated bhp around 250bhp. That was 13.30 by the way ;-) LOL
