I've just recieved my new plates for my car and not sure if the plod will tyake a dislikeing to them so instead of a permenant fixing with the sticking foam padded stuff , can anyone recommend a really strong velcro type material to attatch them with so i can remove them easily if i need to?

Be careful of what you use to fix them on with, many garages have tightened up on number plates, including how they are attatched to the car and will fail a vehcile with plates attatched with "temporary fixings". So you may have to go back to the old self tappers and covers anyway. But better warned now, rather than later, plus dont want to give those guys in the ice cream cars [with no stock!] ant excuse to a "fixed penalty" handout.

i used sellotape stick velcro pads, they are 15mm square cut pads with a very sticky adhesive.

and it "does exactly as it say on the tin" well pack.

just 5 pads, 3 at top, 2 at bottom and its just fine
