Question

If you divert some of the air from an air conditioning unit into the intercooler would it increase the power?

IIRC there's some yank tank truck thing, which does pretty much this - but I can't remember what it is or what they call the process.

Basically, it uses the air-con to hyper-cool incoming air - and stores it in a tank. I've got a feeling it cools the air to something below zero celcius, then - when required - the air is unleashed into the intake and it gives another x BHP for a few seconds.

I'll have a google and see if I can find any details.
