Not quite the deal I thought!

Bought 4 Technomagnesio Detroit F1 wheels from Mid Kent Car Breakers off an MY00 AWD - all with virtually brand new Toyo Proxes 215/35/18 for £340 cash.
Take them to get refurbed and find that 2 are damaged and unrepairable so I leave the other 2 to be done.
Ring the breakers and they say they wont do a refund on the 2 damaged wheels - I need to take all 4 wheels/tyres back for a full refund.
So they'd rather make no sale by refunding me in full rather than giving me some cash back for the 2 wheels I cant use?
What would you do?
(Stuffed as the 2 good wheels are halfway through the refurb!)

Just be glad you did take them for a refurb and found out two were past it...would not have been good to have found out whilst travelling at velocity along your favourite private racetrack
Personally, I would have taken all four back but as you have paid for two to be refurbed, you might as well try and find two more used ones or even buy two brand new ones.
By the sounds of it, this breakers wants all four so as to try and sell them to someone <flame suit> just as gullable </flame suit>
Not much help I know but at least Itook time to reply

You've got 4 good tyres though? or are they damaged?
how much are the wheels new - £125 each? so you get 4 wheels and tyres for less than £600, still a good deal just not the mega bargain you thought..
Unfortunately too good to be true usually is..

I'd get a second opinion from another refurber. I was told a similar story by one refurb co (that just happened to sell wheels too...) and 2 other refurb places told me that there was no problem with doing the repairs.
Of course, it does very much depend on the damage that is present.
