Sean.
K&N and a Scorpion exhaust eh? Good choice!
As far as chips are concerned, I haven't heard anything bad about UNICHIP, and this is probably the way I will go when my warranty runs out. It's the same price as Superchip, but the safety margins seem to be greater, which is obviously a benefit!
Stef.
PS Have you done a search for UNICHIP yet?

I have recently bought a 93WRX scooby which is totally standard. I am taking it to have a K+N induction kit and scorpion exhaust fitted and wondered if anyone had any advice on what would be the next best performance upgrade....from what Ive read no one thinks much of the Superchips option.....what is this UNICHIP and what are its advantages..

Hey Stef!
I didn't go the Unichip/Superchip way!
Have a complete remap of your ECU as PE does it! (even if it's expensive it is worth the money!)
Was able to drive a MY98 (Superchip solution) and afterwards a MY99 (remapped ECU). The MY99 was really very fast, while the MY98 (Superchips) was not really faster than mine without any changes to the ECU!
greetings

Stef,
Thanks for the advice, I havent done any searchs on UNICHIP yet just heard it mentioned a few times in discussions. I would like to go for the more expensive ECU remap but as usual funds are limited and the flexible friend is starting to become very inflexible..
Thanks again for the advice anyway.

Sean,
I would agree with Richard - brakes.
Another good option is the Anti-lift kit from Scoobymania - helps you get the power down better by reducing "bonnet lift" when you accelerate hard.
I have a 94 WRX and wouldn't be without it...
Thanks
Gavin
