Default Newbie with a scooby

Hi There,

Im new to the whole Subaru world but not new to cars/engines/modifcations and the like.

Im here to learn more about my car and to share my new pride and joy.

here is the spec, it says 354bhp but all i can find is a dyno print out with 273bhp? could that be the wheel HP? you lot will be able to tell by the spec im sure.

Engine:

Jdm v7 sti short engine with 70k stripped and checked on install
Wrx heads fully rebuilt
New head gasket
Pulleys and cambelt
execdy organic clutch and release bearing
550cc sti injectors sonic cleaned before install and new o rings
Turbo smart dv
Cosworth panel filter
VF35 turbo inspected and fitted all new bolts and fittings
Uppipe Sti decat
Samco blue hose kit
Air con has been removed with all fittings
New idle control valve
3 inch turbo back system Decatted through out
Hrc high fuel pump
Remapped by duncan graham race dynamix
Dyno at 354bhp at the crank


Exterior:
Wrx side skirts colour coded
Genuine sti front bumper
Sti winglets
Sti fog covers
ht autos lower full splitter not plastic in black
Zunsport black full lower grille
Zunsport badge grille in black
De-tangoed lights and surrounds painted black.
Genuine sti rear spoiler mounted correctly using all fixings
front toe eye strap
17 " black alloys
New dimpled and grooved disc on the front with fast road kevlar pads(1000 miles tops)
Poly bushed drop links on front
Perrins suspension struts and springs 35 mm drop

Looks lovely and clean mate and with that spec the 354bhp sounds legit.

yeah she is clean, needs some touch ups and further mods. but im happy with her.

thats good to know. from my spec what would i need to change to hit the magic 400bhp? im fitting a fmic anyway. but im assuming a larger turbo?

Yeah turbo(sc42,md321,T36,billet 20g etc), bigger injectors, 3 port, ported headers or gt spec with Harvey uppipe and map tweak should seen you North of 400bhp
