Picked up my STi8 yesterday, and even though I'm running her in, I'm just driving round with a huge grin. Can't wait for the run in period to be over
Drove a colleague to our other site yesterday afternoon, he kept commenting at how many people were taking double-takes as we passed or they passed us.
... need window tints next
Must thank B&C for turning the order round so quickly, and Rum for sorting the insurance out.

jhdee - well somebody had to make that joke..
Cheers all.. the is definitely back!
Poor show on my part, I've only racked up 400 miles since Saturday due to working all weekend. Got to average 150 per day to make sure the first service (which is booked) is needed on Saturday!
I must remember, I will not modify the car.. I will not modify the car... at least until next July (renewal date for insurance).
Nathan - yes, WR Blue, wanted black, but its a pain to keep clean/looking good, but the blue does kinda stand out.
Rob - it would be nice to see you in your Skyline at the next meet.
Catch up with most of you soon no doubt, cheers, Alex

Ed - should be, all being equal.
MIRP! - I did swing by last night, but looked like you'd gone to bed (it was the early hours of the morning thou). I'll see you Sunday for the Sussex meet?

I bet it's good to be back in a turbo
I hope B & C offered you a better trade in price for the wagon than they did for mine
must try and get along to a meet soon!

PS Regarding the previous comment by one of the other reply on the subject of Michael Jackson....it was on the news this lunch time that he had been arrested for possesing drugs. The FBI raided his house this morning and found 'class A' drug in a guest house, 'class B' drugs in his kitchen, and the whole of 'Class C' in his bedroom!!!!!!!! hhahahaaahahah!!!!

Big kid here too.
I picked up my sti on Thursday (my first scoob) and I love it
All those wasted years driving FWD french hatchbacks.
Been working too much as well so not enough miles yet, a trip to the lakes on my days off I think

Wild Mark - LOL thats nasty mate.
I'm using my lunch breaks to help get the mileage up, as well as evenings... who needs sleep, pah!
Trouser - Not so much the FD, as the Ins. Broker and how much overtime I have over the next few months...
Charlie/Andy - probably see you both at Surrey Meet.
