Pulled up at the traffic lights in Castleford the other evening, indicating to turn left, when I heard a bizarre noise; a high pitched squeak repeating in time with the indicator flash. While driving home it happened every time I put the left-hand indicator on but not the right! When I got home I investigated, and found the squeak was coming from somewhere in the nearside rear light cluster, but where from? There was some condensation behind the lens and slight corrosion on one of the bulbs but I just couldn't identify the source. Then when I got in the car in the morning it had stopped! It hasn't returned, either. Anyone else experienced this?

Bubba, my intermittant wipers on my MY03 "squeak". It makes you think that you're going slightly mad...

Not had the indicators tho...

Hmm... It's not a mechanical squeak though, It's an electronic sounding squeak, or shriek even, it was that loud!! Just as if it was a miniature speaker or something.

Have you got a tow bar...or used to?

It'll probably be the warning buzzer playing up...it's only supposed to buzz when something is connected to the tow electrics.

My Dad's beamer does on occasions when you brake whilst indicating
