As above really - I'm getting mine soon, can has anyone bettered the 25.4 stated by subaru?

I'll be doing alot on motorway driving so would be very interested in the results of gentile cruising with the odd 'blast' now than then

Thanks

Dave

You might get that on a motorway cruise but expect 18's round town (if you are lucky)

EVO magazine reckon theirs returns no more than 14mpg under a bit of 'enthusiastic' driving

I'd better start saving as only have a week until mine's delivered!

Filled up on sunday (before Beford Meet)

Have done 140miles since, and coming upto final quarter tank marker! This will be my first sub 200mile tank i reckon (but what do you expect when i was having lots of fun on the B660 on sunday)

Usually 220-250 for £40's worth (not put more than £45 in yet)

Its ok, but it comes with the territory!

Went up North a few weeks back A1 the A66

Managed to get 29.5. Not by choice though as I couldn't get any quicker due to the constant threat of speed traps

Wink

Drove mine from Thurso(read John O'groats) to knockhill on saturday/friday and made 25 mpg on way down and 27 on way home and didn't hang about to much. (not posting times on board for legal reasons but decent enough!) Town driving mixed with country blasts is little better than low 20's quite a bit thirstier than my MY99 PPP.

Smile

So it looks like mpg relates directly to the drivers idea of gentle cruising

to summerise 18 to 23 around town, and 23 to 27 (29?) if on the motorway at 70

Would anyone like to add any more??

Dave

No way!. If scoobies had fuel computers half the owners would want to sell. 'Best not to monitor it or it becomes very painful...
