Hi,

A dealer in North East UK, had 2 x WRX stolen from their premises last night.

Aparantly one has been recovered, due to a tracker being fitted. It was found in a garage in Leeds, slightly damaged. I believe the other one hasn't been found as yet.

One was in a locked workshop, the other on the forecourt. I don't know if they got the keys or what, but it proves yet again, you can't be too careful with security.

Don't ask who the dealer is, as I don't want to embarass them, the point of this thread being to highlight a theft by Scum and make people aware, not to show a (good) dealer up.

Scum, Scum, Scum.

Chris.

This one was nothing to do with the dealer's competence.

Just FYI.

Hmmm.. Pockman.. East Yorks... Wonder if it's a York dealership, seeing as it's about the only one in East Yorks, except for Morons Motor Village near me (who I wouldn't trust with my push bike)..

Whats the big secret about saying which dealership it was? Not as if it's their fault is it??

Anyway thanks for the info

Hya,

Hey, I always wave at Scoobies going past! Show respect please! (lol).

Apart from a very nice blue STI, I rarely see another Scooby around my neck of the woods. There are a couple of very well tooled-up Porches in town (400bhp etc), but not much else I've seen. Which is a shame since there are some cracking local roads.

Last time I ventured into York to fuel-up there were a couple of Scoobies in the Shell filling station on Hull Rd... but they didn't seem to wanna make eye contact!

Thanx,

Chris.

Nope...

BTW, York isn't in East yorks, it's in North Yorks.

North East would suggest slightly higher up than York. There are no dealers in East Yorkshire

Chris, why dont you come along to the Yorkshire meet at the Buckles Inn on the A64 on the 1st Monday of each month, meet a few locals etc.

Would you mind dropping me a mail as per my profile, just curious as to your locality, as i live in the sticks as it were, and there are no users i know of that post on here.

I understand if you dont want to

Regards

Steven

No Probs Steve, I'd love to come along to a local meet, as I don't know any Scooby owners in the area.

email on it's way!

Cheers,

Chris.
