Question for people with decals - do your decals represent whats actually in/on the car or do you just put them up cause you like the name/stickers?
Just interested.
I wouldnt put any decal on my car if i didnt have any of their products. Pulled up to a petrol station last night and there was a ford fiesta with blitx, hks and greddy decals down the side of his car. I went over to talk to him to see if he had changed the engine or if he just liked the name of the ocmpanies but he left
Another question as well - do people like decals?
Seen some on some cars and they look on awful but on others, they look really good. Opinion?

I have Prodrive Sticker on the front of my car, but then I do have Prodrive Wheels
I have STI stickers on my fog covers, as they are Sti Fog Covers
But thats it, I guess I could put the 22B Type Uk Badge on the back of the car, as I have a 22B Type UK rear Spoiler (but I wont)

When my car came from Japan. (STI 5 Type R Ltd.)
It had the full, Mcrae Replica job on it. Including window names.
I had most removed ( This incurred some paint damage. Requiring Respray).
I still have large 555 across roof (This is white as the dayglo yellow has faded).
Removed Pirelli stickers as I now run Goodyears.
Put cheap Kenwood in and changed front seats, steering wheel and gearknob, to Sparco .Just to reflect remaining stickers.
Is this MAD, or What?

I have no stickers, at all. I even get plates made with no company names on. The only badges remaining on the car are the ones set into recesses or that leave holes (I'd get them smoothed out if I could be @r5ed).
If they want me to advertise for them then they can pay my tax and insurance for the year.

Well - almost for mine:
HKS - as I've got the gauges
AP Racing - as I've got the brakes
Eibach - as I've got the springs
Apexi - for the backbox (although it might change)
Blitz!!! - Oooops (Not on the car yet though)

love em or hate em...people buy them, and i have made some pretty bad graphics / decals in my time including some fantatsic ones... the worst was a matt black skoda that the owner decided to make it fashionable by cutting the suspension springs down making it about 50mm off the floor... and he decided the slogan up the side to be " how Low can u go " in lime green lettering with a hot pink outline but i dont know if his reference was to how low the car was or a comment on his colour choice and design..utter dog! but he loved it..
graphics come and go and i think we have "the fast & furious" to thank for the last influx of mad ole graphics.. all good for me of course...but some companys really do take the p*ss in what they charge...i saw a full 2f2f kit in a well known motor factors for £530.00s (supply only)whoa! graphics are not that easy to apply at the best of times but i would say that i would find them a little tricky to get on with knowing how much someone paid for them.

I don't see the point of putting stickers on when there's no such product on the car. Just seems a bit fake to me.
But if 'someone' was to tune their car so it was someting special, then cool Of course, it's also kinda cool to have that element of surprise, if you know what I mean. Like what's-his-name with the "1.4 Skoda Octavia". Also

Decals?I don't see why one shouldn't use them as, they show your appreciation for those makes, publicise those products and the car looks cool!
Many people say about scoob that scoob is one car you can load with stickers and it looks cool, even when it's not a proper rally one.It compliments it.Not every car would look nice with decals.

My mate stuck a Jeremy Clarkson 'I've been in faster wheelbarrows' sticker on the back of the STi just before Japfest.
He was really embarassed about it (Stella had something to do with it apparently) but I thought it was ace so I kept it on.
Unfortunately it blew off on the M6 when it got wet.
What stupid tw*t designed a car sticker that falls off when it gets wet????

I was thinking about this on the way to work, everyone has the stickers goin down the door from top to bottom, What do people think about having the stickers running along the bottom of the doors from left to right just above the sill?? I reckon it would be a bit more subtle but a buggger to keep clean.
