Servicing
#1
Finally got round to logging onto Scoobynet as I now require some advice. (Poor excuse I know but have been in the process of moving) I have heard that servicing at the main dealers is not that good and it is better to go to a specialist performance centre.
Now I only want the best for my RB5, so does anyone recommend a place in the Oxford region?

If you are not bothered with a full SUBARU serivce history then my advice is definately go to a specialist rather than a main dealer.
In my experence the main dealers are VERY expensive,
charge for parts not used - washer fluid is the most common,
have muppets as mechanics (not all)- Thought that a rattling heat shield would sort a suspension problem,
think you are stupid and that they know more about tuning than you just because they sit behind a desk - Comment from dealer " why are you going for a stainless steel manifold, that wont help performance at all",
spotty mechanics take your car out for a joy ride and deny it - even when you can prove from the defi gauges that they had it at full boost.
Specialists seem to have more 'care' for the cars they work on IMO.
