Loads of adverts on the telly now for a Magazine with a 'free' RC Scoob. It's the old buy the mag and get free bits every week to build your own scoob. Capable of 40mph according to the advert. First edition £2 normally £5.

Anyone doing this? , Do you know how many editions of the mag before you have all the bits?

Unhappy

A total cost of £222 makes it expensive Best bet is to just go and buy a tamiya one and save waiting nearly a year

Click here to see where you can get a better car for about half the price I own a tamiya 1/10th scale WRC 2001 and have spent about £100-£150 on mods for it

Cheers Paul,
I was with my 13 year old nephew when the TV add came on, "uncle Peter I would really like that magazine, so I can build a car like yours" he said.

After finding out how many issues you require I phoned my nephew and told him "it will take ages to build the model and its cheaper for me to go out and buy you a similar model from a shop".

He said "but uncle Peter its more fun having to wait for your next magazine to arrive before you can put the next parts together".

"OK then Ill drop a few bit off each week from the kit and you can build it slowly."

That shut him up.

i cant remember seeing your model in the garage paul, but then it might have been hidden amongst all the bits of knackered cars, old copies of razzle mags and the odd dismebered body part.
