Just today I realised that some paperboy (probably) had stolen one of my silver valve caps, so I went to swap the other 3 for black plastic ones.
As I did so, I found that they were stuck fast.
Took me about an hour to get them off, whilst risking injury/expense manipulating the rubber valve!!
Surely the manufacturers of these caps must realise that they contract whilst on the valve and the combination of metals is not a good thing!
Wonder if I could sue them for 4 new valves!

After loosing a few sets of valve caps, Ive now tightened mine with a pair of plyers.
There way to tight to remove by hand.
I havent lost any for 3 months so it seems to be working and its free!!!!!
Only down side is you need a pair of plyers to remove the caps when checking your tyre pressures.
