OH MY GOD I've had the car over a year and in every on road comparison have had the same result....me pulling away by varying degrees! Even today a split new v6 TT was reeled in in a friendly motorway tussle.
THEN:
On my way home I got caught up in some traffic behind one of the nicest looking cars on the road. We got some freedom on a bit of dualled straight road and he came off a roundabout with a bit of a twich and then floored it. We ran through 20-80mph where he backed off (and rightly so) for safety sake as we were gaining on other traffic. During those few seconds I had my *** royaly handed to me by a Ferrari 360 Modena
Its the only time I wished I didn't have a decat as I couldn't hear the rarri scream He pulled away but not massively (I expected to feel like I was going backwards) - Maybe its the 'law of deminishing returns' or maybe he wasn't going all out like I was. Either way an amazing car and I'm soooo happy to have seen it driven with a bit of passion

I had an F50 do that to me (I was in my old 200sx)
The driver gave it full power, massive scream from the engine, a bit of smoke from the full load enrichment and it just vanished !
The F50 though would have left the 360 standing.
Could not get the grin off my face for the rest of the day !

Nice one SB .... i would love to see a 360 driven with passion as you call it
Thought i was going to have a similar experience with a 550 last week, on a dual carriageway with roundabouts, but he took a different exit when the road was finally clear enough for us to really go for it ... i'm still dissappointed now about that.

Hi mate I personally wouldn't bother with the PPP if you don't have a warranty to worry about. For the money you can get far better gains from other tuning parts. My Tek2.5 ECU is for sale and that with an aftermarket exhaust would be better than a PPP and a lot cheaper! Also the PPP feels very very smooth and takes the raw edge from the scooby. Good for some people, boring for others All IMHO

The colour was the best thing - it was a sort of light lilac blue(ish) colour. Like a light blue but with a hint of purple in it. A bit like the scroll bar in Windows XP Professional (on standard setting)

Stayed in a hotel in Kuala Lumpur, parked in front were five F360's, one F550, one F456, one F355 and a couple of maserati's
Later, the whole lot left together. The noise was incredible !
(And I turned up in a Proton )

I've emailed you duncan I'm putting the car back to standard as people are sh*t scared of them modified. I'm selling because I've got a flat over the other side of town and I want to invest some money into it so the scooby has to go. Fast cars are taking a back burner for a while

Kenny,
Most threads like yours end up with the Scooby leaving the Ferrari for dead by a country mile You have just committed a major cardinal sin in daring to imply that our exalted scooby's are indeed fallible, beatable and NOT kings of the road.
A thousand lashes to you, infidel!! No, make that 2 thousand, wih your car to be crushed after the event. Remember, there is absolutely nothing out there that can touch a Scoob, no matter how crap a Scooby driver might be, no matter how many big power Evo's & Skylines there are out there.....
Ferrari's? Pah!!

Most of the Ferrari's I've seen and come up against (and lets face it - you don't see that many) are driven by old gits who drive 'em like nancies - would love to come up against one that was being driven how it was designed to be driven!!
So, lucky you Saxo Boy !!

I once followed a red 360 (360 FER) around the southbound slip off the M26 on to the A21. Great corner and i used to do it every day, practising....
This 360 flew round and screamed off up the hill, leaving my standard UK for dust. Fantastic car, ethereal noise, but hey, I love my scoob....... Especially now it's modded
It would still be thoroughly wasted by a 360 but who cares?
