Scooby In A Lake (SIAL) refers to a picture of an Impreza half-submerged in a frozen Finnish lake. It was rather amusing (unless you're the owner) and got posted many times. So often, in fact, that anything else that is posted very frequently (yet each time as if it was breaking news) is referred to as SIAL.

SIAL is a term inevitably attached to posts that begin along the lines of "I doubt any of you guys have seen this, but...".
I'm sure you can work the rest out!
