I'm sure that extended warranty money could be re-directed towards an ECU remap

sounds a tad pricey for the service... (although probably normal amongst some dealers) I got mine for £326

Cool

326 pounds Foook me that is expensive I paid 220€ for my last service and that included 2 new front brake disks, you really need to start protesting at the prices your being charged.

i dont think there is much i can do is there?? my local dealer is now my ex-local, as they are no longer part of the franchise, and this place is not really round the corner, but it is the next closest one to me supposedly 25 miles away

Cool

I use the same dealer as Wurzel - he is 250km from here, but as he said, the prices are really good - and if he says hey, you need this, or no - you dont need something else, then he is being truethful. Also, stuff like o rings, grease etc and all those small bits that they usually charge you, he doesnt.! And with things like brake pads, oil changes and all the stuff that is not too taxing to do - he lets us do - so we save the cost of his guys... good for learning about your car too

can you get a UK impreza serviced in Europe? I could have a vacation visit to my sister in Hamburg and get a service at the same time, all for the price of just a service over here!

As far as I am concerned, there should be no problem... I just dont understand your uk dealers refusing to service gray imports etc... crazy. Well, we have a good one here - just hope you boys find a good one too.

Angry

Just had the 30K service done on my '00 UK Turbo and the local ex-franchise specialist. It cost me £400 and then they said i needed new brake pads on top of it at £170ish including fitting...

So I did the brakes myself.
