Ummmmmh, looks a little sped-up to me. That would also explain the difference in sound quality.

5 mins on the .wmv equates to 5 mins real time. i dont hink its speeded up.

I did a track day last week at Brands for the first time in MY03 on the Grand Prix circuit and that was fantastic.

I think the sound quality is crap as the mike seems to fall off after about a minute. Hopefully it wasn't rolling around the driver's feet!

Ummmm...is starting point isn't the same as his finishing point...there is the old start/finish line in between, which is another 10 seconds difference.

Also, I get the distinct impression the video has been speeded up...not by much...maybe 10% or so. If you look at the blinking lights at the start they are a bit fast. And his lines aren't tight enough to be in the 8 minute range. Note that the clock has been superimposed on the video at a later stage...it is not editted into the movie by the videocamera.
