only 555 reference I can find is to a French special edition on http://www.iwoc.co.uk In Europe the "555" special edition is the model over and above the standard model, and seems to be released every year.
96 Model '555' (France)
-Black WRX bucket seats trimmed with grey alcantara
-Black dashboard
-555 Blue paintwork
-Gold wheels
-No split rear seat
-Nardi leather steering wheel and gear ****
-Cost FRF165 000 (compared to FRF 155 000 for standard model) Exchange rate was about 8F to the £

There are so many models of imported subaru's out there, but how can you tell its actually a 555 V LTD 1996...? I've looked on SIDC under FAQ, also search but there seems to be a server error. Could someone plz briefly explain how to identify a genuine model...?
