Morgan Aero vs WRX03 PPP?
#1
Best thing about this site is everyone has a view - some based on experience, many not! I'm at a private track day on Monday (Brands) with chance to drive
a. my new WRX03 PPP - have to take it easy as only done 2500miles
b. Morgan Aero (anyone ever driven one?)
4.5L V8 160mph top (286hp/ton)
c. Morgan 1962 Le Mans car
d. Track Spec Porsche 996
e. Roadgoing 996
Pretty obvious that D will be quickest, followed by D.
C far too valuable to drive quickly.
But what do you think between Scooby and Morgan?
Of course if it rains then changes a bit....not sure I'll get in the Morgan!
Will report back - but let's see who thinks they know?

mmmm - few reads and no replies!
seems your average scoobynetter not interested in an English V8 with much better power to weight than Scoob.
now if i had said Audi TT or 206 or Nova, would have had a bagfull of anti post!!

unless of course it rains...?
Has anyone actually driven an Aero?
Seems many people's views are based on paper facts(usually Evo).
Oh - and thanks for the engine tip. Couldn't really have been an English V8 as don't think there are any made today?!

erm, this is the actual Morgan that won it's class at Le Mans in 62
which has been restored to original racing spec. Looks superb, and is surprisingly quick for a 40yr old car (that looked old in 1962!)
