I think it's about time Scoobynet had its own pic uploader. Countless times i and other people have been asked for pics of various thing to find that fotopic or whoever can't handle Scoobynet's traffic.
I for one would be prepared to put up a few £££ each year to use an uploader for exclusive Scoobynet use.
I know someone will say sort out my own webspace but i simply could do without the headache of learning how (tried before )
I'm sure there are many more out there who feel the same as me so could i ask for a show of hands please and maybe if there is enough support for this the powers that be will fix this up for us

brun
in the internet explorer address bar type in ftp://your username: password@upload.ntlworld.com/ so for example mine is

ftp://mr.cookie:tumteetum@upload.ntlworld.com

then drag and drop any pics/file etc in internet explorer, the address for file will be
http://homepage.ntlworld.com/your username/name of file including extension (ie .jpg)
so for example

http://homepage.ntlworld.com/mr.cookie/scoob.jpg

Sorted

What about other people who are not with NTL?
It's a pain to see red x's everywhere!
Is there a similar method for other Internet providers?

for most it will be that easy just change to whomever there ftp is although some you can't do it, upload for bt openworld is ftp.btinternet.com for example so they would go to ftp://username: password@ftp.btinternet.com to upload their pics and either http://www.btinternet.com/~username or
http://www.username.btinternet.co.uk or http://username.users.btopenworld.com then /name of file uploaded including tag i.e .jpg .mpg etc etc
to show file

Just about all Service providers provide you with web space, you just need to have a look on their home page and find out how to use it.

Attu

totally agree but some of them don't make it that easy especially if you just want to share a few pics or the odd movie most try to make you build a web page and attach files and images.
