think I've found where this annoying rattle is coming from in my STi8.

after smacking the steering wheel (at the 12 o'clock position) with the ball part of my palm I heard this rattle that usually comes when driving over slightly uneven surfaces...i'll get the service guys to take a look at it in the next service.

has anyone had the same experience?

I used to have one on my P1 and it completely changed my driving style to have my arms at 12 O'Clock pushing against the wheels to stop it.

Turned out to be the adjustable part underneath and was fixed easily enough - I should have been bothered to get it check out sooner and it would have had less stress on my muscles "pushing"
