keeping that scooby shining

I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on a good set of products for cleaning and polishing their cars.
I spent a lot of time on motorways in scotland so the car get a lot of muck and spray all over it and is very difficult to keep clean.

First of all wash ur car in Auto Glym car shampoo then once rinsed and shamyoed (sp) use Auto Glyms Super Resin Polish. If u want it really shiny use Extra Gloss Protection afterwards. They also do glass cleaner, alloy wheel cleaner and bumber care. Aim to polish ur car with the resin fortnightly and use u should ave a shiner!!!

Autoglym Wax seems to leave a nasty white residue on black plastic. At least it did on all my company cars- the stuff doesn't touch my Impreza.

I've just started using Zymol shampoo and polish from Halfords. It's Swiss made as I believe Swissol is (name kinda gives it away eh?!) and is damn fine stuff. Definately no white residue if you get it on the black bits and is very quick to apply. Smells blummin luverly aswell!
