Not so simple its a long and drawn out process but i can tell you a few pointers mail me it is possible just Japanese are a bit keen on paperwork for exporting cars...takes six weeks to ship to uk paperwork is main problem.

Roppongi is worth a night or two as its full of western bars where japanese girls go to meet western guys get ready for culture shock BTW!

Not that i dabble just that im very very observant........

Just some ballpark figures for you.

shipping ....................450 ish inc insurance for trip
De-registration from japan + getting it onboard etc...
150 i think

Shipping agents/docks fees 130

add those to price of car, then add another 10% on, then add another 17.5% onto that.(duty & vat).

then get it sva'd and registered (600)...easy eh

Thumbs up

Try and stay in a tokyu stay hotel there like apartments!!!
but I have stayed in traditional japanese hotels which are cool but built for little peeps!!!Im 6 3`so i have to duck in most doorways, and feet hang a foot outta beds.

Long flight but shop around ive flown for £500 well worth it but bear in mind that there might not be the particular car you want, probably like me you`ll want em [b]all!!
