i have seen a impreza turbo at a local dealers,
but im not sure as to its origin or reasons for pricing!!!
the cars up for £5995.. details are
L plate impreza turbo... ( not sure if its a wrx / sti/ etc)
its a classic saloon.. sunroof / a-c /
88k on clock looks like its had a few mods..
exhaust / lowered / debadged..
had a brief look at the log book , and without going to details,
there were some odditys.... the engine no was not known??
and it looked like it was an import... the original owner was a dealer/ importer?
the car had some odd tyre wear..
nsf had a 2 in wear bar on the outer side wall!!!
and on the legal limit
osf was newish budget
nsr was ok
osr was on limit...
methinks both worn tyres were on front and have been swapped.. to disguise fact ..
or car has been given some welly at a track day. and cos of the lowering has mullered the tyres..
question is is it over priced??
parkers gives much lower values for later cars...
also i rekon on factoring in at least 1K for tyres and a 90K service
is this resonable or a walk away jobby...
or is it a negotiable prospect

I'd steer clear of that one Mart, sounds a bit sketchy what with the engine number missing/tyres etc.
Unless you've got your heart set on an import, have a look at what you could pick up for just £750 more (just saw this in the for sale section): http://www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs/threa...hreadid=237794
Looks like it's going to sell for £6750 (98S 50k). I wouldn't go for the first one you look at though, as a lot of people will probably agree.
