For those that missed out on the GruppeS buy..
You may be interested in some OBX equal length headers.
These provide up to 20bhp.
You will need a remap to make the best of them. Looking for 9 people (+myself)...

OBX is a US brand, they specialise in high power applications, despite the website saying otherwise they do Impreza headers..
http://www.obxracingsports.com/

(They seem pretty overengineered to me too which is always a good thing )

P20spd has used them to great effect at TOTB, and tbh I didnt notice that much of a loss of the flat 4 rumble as he tore up the strip and handling circuit

Cost is £395 inc VAT + delivery (or collection if possible)
Supplier is: ccsportsimports@btopenworld.com

Any other questions should be directed to the supplier directly..
Turn around from the states is approx two weeks.

The GB price is open for Two weeks from today..

payment is by Cash/Cheque only - No Credit Cards im afraid.
These are problem free to fit, and work well with any turbo combination.

The Gruppe-S buy isn't yet closed - nobody's yet missed out.

I want to keep the flat-four sound for my car, but it's down to personal preference. Good luck with this group buy!

the boxer beat is still there to an extent, just not as deep IMO, but then i think that is the case will all headers.

It sounds pretty mental in the cabin when its on full throttle, and high in the rev range is just such a cool sound IMO, i really like it.

I have actually taken the bung out of the hiper exhaust since fitting these, as i like the sound more.

So far i am very impressed with these headers, and i have covered over a 1000miles in nearly 2 weeks.

Ed, no not tested, but i know that Trout has been to Bedford when he had standard headers and 3" downpipe and full HKS. I have the same system except for the headers, and the car is quieter, especially when you have the bung in.

Note, i ran with the bung in on standard headers(ported) all the time, except drag days, or scooby meets, but now the bung is out, and has not been used for 2 weeks.

Hope that helps, but no definitive decible reading.
