Mmmmm... Got me thinking..... Now have a test drive booked in an M3. Did the obligatory Evo 8 test last month, now to the daddy....
But there again, there is the 911 C4S to consider - and a probable divorce if I mention costly German metal in the same breath as 'me' and 'driving'....

Tried a M3 and a 996 C2 Coupe with all the goodies.
Getting out of the M3 left me completely cold, there was no excitement and was not at all quicker the my WRX (running 300bhp) and honestly found it BORING!! The wife drove it and she told the salesman that she thought the car was w**k!!! (then again she is an Essex girl with zero decorum!!)
Now the 996, what a car!!!!! I decided on the C2 with PSM against the C4 as you need to be driving like a complete **** to need 4WD. So happy was I with the test drive the I pick up my brand new one in 3.5 weeks!!!!
As I do the British Rally Championship, I get my thrills there now so no need to be on the limit on public roads, so happy to get a 996.
