Reason I ask this question, is that there's only aprroximatley 90 TT Legacys registered in the UK
I have this from a reliable source
And was therefore wondering how many owners are on Scoobynet.
This may possibly lead to a register
Cheers

I've got one to. '96 GT in silver. Bought it a couple of months ago. Another one turned up in the village within a couple of weeks !Same year in green. Not that exclusive then ?
Apart from the fuel consumption a brilliant car.

Had mine for the past year, a 93/94 BG5A Legacy GT automatic in metallic green, was imported in 1998 or 1999 I believe.
When it is going right is a lovley car, the grown up scooby, however cannot get above 25mpg however gently (probably not very) I drive it.

Heh - that's one of the reasons I like the car! Fuel consumption's so much better than my GTI-R...
I get about 24mpg on average, occasionally 28mpg on motorways.
Just miss the handling the GTI-R had - but I suppose the Legacy is rather longer and heavier...

Fuel consumption 25.3 average on Optimax.

Hi All,
I am new here. I have a 99 Legacy B4 RSK 5speed manual in black mica.1998cc twin sequential turbo,280bhp from the factory, black leather with blue insets, syms rear-box,privacy glass to the rear windows, chromed alloys, (kirbed to hell Japs cannot drive!).
I had never seen one before,I had never driven a Scooby even but when I saw her it was love at first sight.I have never had so much fun in a motor as this one, no one knows what it is but they sure know that it IS somthing.
Geoff.

B4 Boy - too much Welly m8 I am up to about 23.5mpg avg (with most of that done in Tokyo's traffic) - but I get 28mpg on fast open road runs, 30+ when behaving
Geoff - Japan's roads are very tight, and curbing wheels on streets that are not really wide enough for 2 way traffic is common (and I've seen it often enough in London too). You'd better try driving here prior to slagging everyone off over here Anyway, there are plenty of good drivers that curb their alloys in the UK, too... Glad to hear you are enjoying the car
Keep'em coming gents (and ladies)

Hi AJbaseBloke,
no offence intended. I have no history with my car but the milage was 20,000 Kph when I got her, the brakes were worn out and she was full of little dings and dents and had a body kit fitted. I had the kit stripped off and the bodywork sorted. She is like new underneath and in the engine bay.
I assumed, always a dangerous thing to do,that my car must have been a city car in Japan and never driven very far, just often.
I have had several Japanese imports, you sure keep the best cars to yourselves.
Kind Regards,
Geoff.

How about the SLDC Subaru Legacy Drivers Club. Of course we can then be an associate of the SIDC. But do we have all Legacies? The original and now the new one are single turbo with the second and third versions being twin turbos. I suppose we should invite them all as there are only 90 Twin Turbos, thats an exclusive club.
Your thoughts please?
Tim
Ready for another meet?

But have to say you dont see many of these cars around, I do get some funny looks when im in my car or people just standing looking at the car when im at the shop, nice to be different Paul.

Tim,
Having just TTs would make it exclusive.
It would probably work for a register, but for a club IMO we should invite all.
The SLDC idea sounds great.
Still need a web guru though.
I get Jap Performance nearly every month, no mention of TTs, maybe we should pester them for a feature, let everyone know we exsist
Yep I'm up for another meet
