I'm selling my car and before he drives away in it i think i should give him some form of reciept or something to aknowledge the exchange?!?!?

er dunno but as long as you have sumin along lines of blah blah car bought as seen on ..... for £ & signed by both then all good

The more info the better, ie.

Names, addresses, date, reg number, car desciption, mileage, vin number, engine number, price, deposit, signatures, etc.

Put a time on it also , just incase he runs down a bus que 5 mins after buying it !

Yeah this is what i thought.

But anybody got a template of one in word format preferablly. If so might be good idea to have it a as sticky topic in "cars for sale" section???

when I sold using autotrader they sent me a form with the necessary bits for the buyer and seller - finance free, sold as seen, only driven by a lesbian etc.
