Question

I'm taking my '96 GT legacy to France soon, any advice on fuel ratings/availability ?

Unleaded is called sans plomb, octane ratings are 98+95 and clearly marked on the pumps which are green in colour.

98 RON is available nearly everywhere and far more widely than in the UK. Current price is between 98 and 110 Euro cents.

... and super unleaded is super sans plomb (98). and there will always be an SSP pump at all stations on autoroutes and the route nationales stations. which is nice. unlike here.

Don't mistake Super for Sans Plomb 98- super is the same as LRP and comes from a red pump (mostly)
