Wink

Went for a spin in my mates new FQ300 Evo today - Damn it's quick. However, after I stopped playing with it, I followed him back along the nice twisty back lanes and no matter what he did, he couldn't lose my (as yet) unmodded 02 WRX!

Damn, I feel smug!

I had a test drive in an Evo 6 on Sunday, It was quick, but I didnt feel it was significantly quick enough in the real world to make me shell out for it, over and above what I already have

Cool

It certainly didn't warrant the extra 12k that he paid over mine, thats for sure

Tried an Evo 8 FQ 300 about 6 weeks ago. To be honest, it felt about 50% faster than my standard MY02 WRX. Can't believe he couldn't lose you, at least until the traffic thickened....

I think it depends on what speed your going and what sort of roads your on.

I had my mate in a Focus RS behind me on a nice trip and I was only getting a couple of car lengths on him and very slowly pulling away in my Evo VIII.
